The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model is the framework for school counseling programs. The components of the school counseling program are designed to improve student outcomes through the school's academic mission and are created to hav a positive impact on achievement, discipline and attendance.

• Data-informed decision making through needs assessments and other data gathering

• Developmentally appropriate curriculum that is focused on the behaviors and mindsets of all students for success
